ECU Clinic Space

ECU is committed to maximising usage of the ECU Clinic Spaces at the ECU Health Centres Wanneroo and Yanchep to generate value in teaching, training, and research. To achieve this, the ECU Clinic Spaces on Level 2 of each building are available for use by ECU staff and students for service and program delivery, clinical training, and conduct of research. In certain circumstances, the ECU Clinic Spaces can also host services/events led by external organisations on the condition of partnership with ECU.

For one-off or ad hoc bookings (1-5 days), ECU staff can email the ECU Health Centre project team to request access. For longer-term room bookings involving clinical training or service/program delivery, ECU staff must complete an ECU Clinic Space and Research Application form. Staff should read the ECU Clinic Space and Research Guidelines before completing the application form.

Tenants at the ECU Health Centre Yanchep are able to book Clinic Space rooms (where they’re not being used by ECU staff) by emailing requests to the Project Coordinator.

Risk assessment

As part of ECU’s overall approach to managing risk, any programs or services provided at the ECU Health Centres involving client contact must conduct a risk assessment of the proposed activity. Evidence of Enterprise and Hazard Risk Registers in development and/or entered into RiskWare is a requirement of the application form. For further information on risk management, contact Enterprise Risk in Strategic and Governance Services, or the WHS unit in People and Culture.
