Edith Cowan University (ECU) proudly thanks Dentons, the world’s largest global law firm, for their generous support as the Presenting Partner of Aluminate in its first year.

The inaugural event, held in November, celebrated the achievements of ECU alumni and raised funds to support ECU Inspiring Minds scholarships.

As part of this partnership, Dentons announced the launch of the Dentons Aspire Law Scholarship, which will provide vital support to a deserving student pursuing a Bachelor of Laws at ECU in 2025.

John Park, Partner in Dentons Perth office, expressed the firm’s shared commitment to education and community, stating, “Education has the power to transform lives and communities. This scholarship will help a student from a disadvantaged background or marginalised community access a world-class education, enabling them to realise their dreams. We are proud to invest in the future of Western Australia through this program.”

Susan Schofield, ECU’s Director of Development and Alumni Relations, said, “We are incredibly proud to partner with Dentons as our inaugural Aluminate Presenting Partner. The Dentons Aspire Law Scholarship will have a profound impact on a deserving student, furthering our shared commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.”

ECU extends its heartfelt gratitude to Dentons for their leadership and generosity in supporting this milestone event and helping create new opportunities for students. Together, ECU and Dentons are shaping a brighter future for the Western Australian community.
