Master of Public Health

This coursework degree caters to students who see themselves responding to the frontline of the world's public health problems. In addition, it is designed for those who aspire for careers in various sectors in health and research, including child and adolescent health, healthy aging, health protection and clinical health services, with a focus on program development and management. It provides students with an advanced skill set required for international professional best practice and allows customisation of their study.

Admission requirements

  • Into a 120 credit point Masters Degree, a Bachelor Honours degree in the same discipline; or
  • Into a 180 credit point Masters Degree, a Bachelor degree in the same discipline; or
  • Into a 180 credit point Masters Degree, a Bachelor Honours degree; or
  • Into a 240 credit point Masters Degree, a Bachelor degree; or
  • Where accepted, equivalent prior learning, including at least five years appropriate professional experience.

Course Specific Admission Requirements

All applicants are required to have a relevant undergraduate or postgraduate qualification in health.
