ECU's new partnership with Apple

As a university that champions creative thinking, it makes perfect sense for us to partner with someone who has always encouraged people to 'think different'.

So it's exciting to announce that our new world-class campus in Perth's CBD will soon be home to Western Australia's first Apple Foundation Program.

The global program is designed to produce the next generation of app developers, entrepreneurs, and digital innovators in a purpose-built facility overlooking our growing city.

Building a highly visible partnership

"ECU is thrilled to partner with Apple, bringing one of the world's most recognisable brands to a Western Australian university."

The Apple Foundation Program

The program will introduce participants to the iOS ecosystem, learning Apple’s Swift programming language for iPhone, iPad, and Mac.

It provides students with the skills to design and create their own apps, and to develop solutions to real challenges.

The program has already empowered students around the world, with many launching successful businesses.

ECU City is a prime location

With its unique combination of business, creative industries and technology, ECU City is a ripe environment for the kind of out-of-the-box thinking and innovation associated with the Apple Foundation Program. Located in a technology-enabled learning space in ECU City it will offer a collaborative environment for hands-on learning and creative problem-solving.

Creative thinkers are in demand

Companies value creative thinking skills more than ever before. It's an asset.
