The Aspen Medical Foundation Scholarship has been generously donated to support a Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander student studying full time in a Bachelor course in the areas of Nursing, Paramedical Science or Psychology. The $10,000 scholarship will paid to the successful recipient as $5,000 over 2 semesters.

Eligibility guidelines
In order to be eligible for this scholarship you must:
- be of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander descent;
- be enrolled in a Bachelors course in either Nursing, Nursing and Midwifery, Paramedicine or Psychology;
- have and maintain an academic progression status of GREEN;
- be enrolled full time and remain enrolled in a minimum of 60 credit points per semester;
- not be in receipt of another scholarship valued over $5000.
How to apply
Application is made via the ECU Online Scholarship Application Portal. Access to the Portal is available between application opening and closing dates.
Applicants will be required to provide a personal statement of no more than 500 words responding to the below;
- Why have you chosen to study this course?
- What are your career goals after University?
- How will this Scholarship assist you?

Eligible applications will be assessed by a Selection Committee.
