David Templeman and Carole Dhu Scholarship

The Hon. David Templeman MLA and Carole Dhu have established a Scholarship which will support 4 students currently enrolled full time in any course at The Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA). Eligible students will either currently reside in the Peel Region or have relocated from their home address in the Peel Region to study at WAAPA. Scholarships are valued at $5000.

Eligibility guidelines

To be eligible for this scholarship you must:

  • be an Australian Citizen or Permanent  Resident;
  • have and maintain an academic progression status of GREEN;
  • be studying full-time on campus in any WAAPA course (60 credit point minimum requirement for Bachelor, full contact hours for Diploma) ; and
  • either currently reside in the Peel Region; or
  • have relocated from your home address in the Peel Region to study at WAAPA. Eligible post codes are 6208, 6209, 6210, 6211, 6180.
    If you currently do not reside in the Peel Region and have relocated from the Peel region to study at WAAPA, you will be required to provide evidence of previous address, not older than 2 years.

How to apply

Application is made via the ECU Online Scholarship Application Portal. Access to the portal is available between application opening and closing dates.

Applicants will be required to provide a personal statement of no more than 500 words describing the following:

  • Describe your personal circumstances and how you would benefit from receiving the Scholarship.
