Seeking PhD Candidates for the I. Peter Farrell SpinalCure PhD Scholarship
SpinalCure is currently seeking an enthusiastic and ambitious PhD candidate wishing to follow a career in cure-related SCI research.

The total funding of the Scholarship is $35,000 per annum over the course of three to four years. This also includes a one-off relocation grant for domestic and international students to the value of $2000 and $3000 respectively.

Objectives

The objectives of the I. Peter Farrell PhD Scholarship are to support an exceptional candidate to:

  • Progress a PhD project that undertakes innovative research which takes steps towards the
    goal of a cure for SCI.
  • Develop their skills and advance their careers in the field of SCI research.

Eligibility guidelines

Eligibility for a scholarship include the following:

  • Candidates should have completed, or be in their final year of, an Honours, MSc or equivalent degree.
  • The Scholarship is available to domestic and international students (subject to appropriate visa requirements).
  • The successful applicant must provide evidence of acceptance into Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) studies at an Australian university before the award can be made.
  • The candidate chosen would also be expected to regularly update Spinal Cure Australia on their progress.
