Ross is a psychology Lecturer and the Course Coordinator of the undergraduate psychology program within the School of Arts and Humanities.
Ross Hollett completed his PhD at the University of Western Australia in 2015. His PhD investigated the role of alcohol craving on decision-making using traditional and novel forms of risk assessment. Since his appointment as a lecturer at Edith Cowan University, he has primarily taught research methods and statistics to undergraduate and postgraduate students in addition to his research activities.
Ross is currently using eye tracking technology to understand how certain types of visual media (e.g., video games, pornography, fashion imagery) influence real world attitudes and behaviour. He also conducts research on substance use and risk taking behaviour. Ross is a member of the Experimental Psychology Unit at Edith Cowan University.
