Bronte is a Research Administrator in the School of Arts and Humanities.

Background

Bronte is part of the Social Ageing (SAGE) Futures Lab. The SAGE team are leading research in social care across the life-course, contributing social science perspectives and methodologies to the creative and caring professions.

Bronte is currently working on the research project ‘Home Care Client and Family Caregiver Experience,’ in collaboration with industry partners Southern Cross Care (WA). Utilising focus groups, interviews and surveys with older people and their family caregivers, this project aims to investigate the views and experiences of older people living at home in Western Australia who receive aged care services through a Home Care Package.

Bronte also provides research and administrative support across other SAGE Lab projects, including the MRFF funded Befriending with GENIE, an intervention to reduce loneliness, and increase social support and service access for people living with dementia and caregivers from Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CaLD) communities.

Prior to joining ECU, Bronte was a Research Assistant at the University of Western Australia, and in the native title sector.
