Associate Professor Sukunesan possesses extensive expertise in innovation, technology, and systems thinking, backed by over 20 years of experience in leadership roles in both academic and corporate settings. His practical knowledge spans a wide range, including involvement in significant government projects, collaboration with SMEs, and engagement with Southeast Asian governments. This hands-on experience equips him with valuable insights into the challenges of managing multi-stakeholder projects, shaping policies, and understanding their real-world implications.

Academically, Suku has made notable contributions with over 60 international publications and an H-index of 22. He has also demonstrated his innovative side by holding two patents and securing grants for his work. His involvement in the startup sphere, as both a founder and an active participant in startup ecosystem and university initiatives, including CSIRO OnPrime, showcases his commitment to nurturing entrepreneurial endeavours. He generously shares his expertise by serving as a judge, mentor, and coach.
