Biography

Dr. Cecilia Anthony Das is a distinguished legal scholar and researcher with expertise in corporate law, employment law, environmental, social, and governance (ESG) practices, and innovation policy. She holds a PhD in Innovation Policy from Curtin University, focusing on Malaysia's innovation system and its role in shaping national innovation capabilities.

Dr Das’s research addresses critical global challenges, including corporate governance, modern slavery, workplace regulation, and digital payment systems. Her work has contributed to policy discussions and legislative reforms, strongly emphasising sustainability, ethics, and human rights. Her impressive portfolio of peer-reviewed publications, book chapters, and conference presentations demonstrates her thought leadership in these fields.

Dr Das brings a unique perspective to her work, combining academic rigour with practical insights from her corporate legal background. Her expertise and research continue to significantly impact legal scholarship and corporate governance frameworks globally.
