Extra-curricular learning for childrenChildren's University Edith Cowan aims to inspire students between seven and fourteen to develop confidence and a love of learning through validated activities beyond the school curriculum.

Joe is the Executive Education Program Officer in the ECU School of Business and Law. In his role, Joe’s responsibilities include; stakeholder engagement, course scheduling, administration support and assisting course delivery.
In 2023 Joe joined ECU in a fundraising role with the Development & Alumni Relations (DAR)Team before moving into a Senior Centre Officer role which included supporting the DAR Director and day to day management of the office. Prior to joining ECU, Joe spent time working with Australia’s largest mental health and fitness initiative, The Push-Up Challenge, in a role engaging workplaces and communities.
Joe completed his BSc in Applied Sport and Exercise Science (hons) in 2010 at Northumbria University, Newcastle (UK). Upon moving to Perth in 2014, he spent eight successful years engaging with some of Western Australia’s largest companies managing corporate health facilities in Perth CBD. With a passion for elevating and supporting others, Joe views ECU’s values of integrity, respect, rational inquiry, personal excellence and courage as aligning with his personal values.
Joe is a qualified first aider and has also completed training on mental health first aid in the workplace.
