Atul Chandra is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Business and Law and has been researching and teaching in Australia and overseas.
Atul has extensive industry and professional experience for over 25 years in senior management and governance roles in the Australian mining, manufacturing, shipbuilding and fishing sectors.He has been a senior member of the accounting profession with FCA, FCPA, FCMA, CIA, CGMA designations. He was the Australian President of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA). He is a Physicist with Bachelor of Science Honours from Delhi University, India.
Atul’s passion for research and teaching lead him to join ECU in 2008. With his vast commerce and science backgrounds he has been keen to conduct interdisciplinary research. He was conferred the Doctor of Philosophy by The University of Western Australia in 2018.
