Edith Cowan University’s (ECU’s) School of Business and Law (SBL) has yet again proved its unwavering dedication to providing quality business education, with outstanding results in the latest Good Universities Guide (GUG).
ECU was ranked the top university in WA for undergraduate Business & Management studies across all six categories, including Student Support, Skills Development, Learner Engagement, Learning Resources, Teaching Quality, and Overall Educational Experience.
The university was named the number one university in the State for Skills Development in undergraduate Law & Paralegal Studies.
ECU was also ranked the number one university in the country for both Student Support and Learning Resources in postgraduate Business & Management studies. SBL’s postgraduate offerings were also ranked top in WA for Skills Development, Teaching Quality, and Overall Educational Experience.
The rankings – derived from national graduate survey data – cement SBL’s position as one of the top business schools in Australia for school leavers.
The strong results come after SBL last year earned global recognition with accreditation by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), which is held by less than six per cent of the world’s schools offering business degree programs.
It also follows ECU taking out top place in the quality category in the Australian Financial Review’s inaugural AFR BOSS Best Business Schools list in September 2022.
School of Business and Law Executive Dean Professor Maryam Omari said the excellent results were consistent with SBL’s growing national and international reputation.
“We provide an exceptional student experience and a range of delivery options to suit the personal circumstances of our diverse cohort,” Professor Omari said.
“Academic and professional staff who are passionate about student success work closely with students to ensure their academic progress and wellbeing. Our programs undergo regular reviews and updates, and our industry partners are involved in the design, development and delivery to ensure they are contemporary and world-relevant.”
