The School of Business and Law (SBL) recently hosted a "Thank-You Breakfast" to express its deep appreciation to the dedicated members of its Advisory Board and Consultative Committees.
SBL’s mission is to develop industry-ready graduates through exceptional teaching and learning experiences and engaged, applied research. The Advisory Board and Consultative Committee members are instrumental in achieving this mission. Arron Jackson, Industry Relationship Manager at SBL, elaborated on the significance of the Advisory Board and Consultative Committee members stating "We have 100 industry leaders that sit on our Consultative Committees and Advisory Boards in SBL. They inform the school's curriculum, keeping us on the leading edge of innovation and opportunities in the industry. They are expertly wrangled by our sagacious Committee and Board Chairs."
SBL Executive Dean, Professor Maryam Omari, expressed her gratitude for the tireless efforts of the Advisory Board and Consultative Committee members stating, "We are immensely thankful for the commitment and wisdom provided by our Advisory Board and Consultative Committee members. Their guidance and support are pivotal in ensuring that we offer the best possible educational experiences and career opportunities to our students. Together, we are shaping the leaders of tomorrow."
