His extensive experience in both academia and industry underscored the vital role that ECU plays in fostering impactful AI projects and collaborations.

The event also featured a lively panel discussion that allowed attendees to gain practical insights into responsible AI implementation and the potential of AI to revolutionize business operations. Attendees had the unique opportunity to engage with early AI adopters and industry executives, building connections and sparking ideas for future projects.

“We are thrilled to partner with SMEC AI and host this pivotal event,” said Associate Professor Sukunesan. “It’s a remarkable opportunity to showcase how AI can drive real, transformative outcomes for businesses, and to highlight the importance of ethical and responsible AI practices.”
