Since this time, the needs of the committee have evolved, as has the committee itself. In 2023, this committee was rebranded the ‘Responsible Management and Sustainability Committee’, chaired by the School’s dedicated Professor of Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability, Gabriel Eweje.
The committee continues to be represented by a team of adept, passionate and dedicated students and staff from all disciplines across the School. The diversity in expertise within the committee fosters cognitive diversity and inclusiveness in its decision making and practises.
The purpose of the School of Business and Law (SBL) Responsible Management and Sustainability Committee (RMSC) is to ensure co-ordination and communication across the School to enable the effective development of the SBL responsible management and sustainability plan; and to provide leadership, advice and guidance on related key activities and matters.
