The School of Business and Law Centre for Sustainability and Governance Research (CSGR) is a leading research centre established to advance sustainability, ethics, and governance. At the heart of CSGR’s mission is addressing the most pressing global challenges through impactful research and collaboration across industries, governments, and communities.

The Centre focuses on three key themes:

Sustainable Development and Environmental Management: Developing innovative solutions that balance economic growth with environmental stewardship, emphasising climate change, the circular economy, and renewable energy.

Corporate Governance and Responsibility: Enhancing corporate accountability and integrity through research on ethical practices, tackling modern slavery, and strengthening governance frameworks for transparency and social responsibility.

AI and Technological Innovations for Sustainability: Leveraging the power of artificial intelligence and emerging technologies to improve efficiency, foster innovation, and enhance governance in sustainability practices.

CSGR is a hub for interdisciplinary research that equips businesses and policymakers with the tools to embed sustainability and ethical governance at the core of their operations.
