Background

Prof Xie is Vice President of Tourism College and the Tourism Safety and Security Academy at Huaqiao University, and a special commentator for China Tourism News. He has long been engaged in teaching and research work in area of tourism safety and risk management, service management. He has published more than 50 academic papers, 3 monographs, 5 blue books. He has undertaken more than 10 research projects for the National Social Science Foundation, the Ministry of Education Humanities and Social Sciences and other provincial research funding, and 8 projects for the National Tourism Administration and the local tourism administrations in policy consultations. He was supported by the Program of Youth Expert Train Plan of National Tourism Administration, Program for New Century Talents in Fujian Province University, Program for Excellent Youth science Talents in Fujian University.
