Background

Zhiyong Li, PhD, is Professor and Vice Dean of the School of Tourism Management at Sichuan University(SCU). He is PhD supervisor of tourism management and cultural heritage protection and development. He is the head of tourism management department at Sichuan University. He is also the vice president of China Tourism Association Exhibition Education Federation, President of Sichuan Tourism Association Education Branch, and supervisor of Sichuan Province Convention and Exhibition Industry Association.

Professor Zhiyong Li has broad academic scope and interests including tourism economics, tourism sustainable development, tourism behaviour, outbound tourism, hospitality management, cultural heritage development and so on. He has presided over and participated in more than 10 national and provincial level projects. He has published about thirty articles in the SSCI/CSSCI journals as first or corresponding author and edited and participated in the compilation of about 10 monographs and textbooks.
