Carol is a Lecturer at the School of Education and is the Design & Technology Secondary Education Co-ordinator.

Background

Carol has had an extensive career in the Technologies area. She worked in the ICT industry from 1987 - 2000 in London, Sydney and Ottawa. She completed her Dip. Ed. in Technology education in 2001. In 2004 she became Head of Technologies in an independant boys secondary school which she held until 2019. In that period Carol completed a MA, a MEd and began her PhD journey. She has worked extensively on a contract basis for the Schools Curriculum and Standards Authority in a number of roles including Chief Examiner for ATAR examinations. Carol has been working with Design & Technology Pre-Service Teachers since 2019 and encourages them to embrace the curriculum.
