Background
Marnie has experience as a Primary Education teacher within the Catholic, Independent and Government sectors. She has taught in many classrooms and has taken on other roles including Physical Education teacher and has experience working within the educational support sector. Marnie commenced at ECU as a sessional lecturer in 2019 and continues to work at ECU as an academic and the Primary Professional Experience Coordinator on the SW Campus. Marnie continues to remain current in the teaching profession, working at various schools in the South-West in a relief capacity. As the Primary Professional Experience Coordinator (South West), Marnie assists students, through a strengths-based approach to be well prepared for professional experience, supports students while on professional experience as well as liaising with schools, supervisors and mentor teachers.
