Scholarships

ECU offers a broad range of scholarships to all students. These scholarships are designed to both recognise those whose life journey may have been challenging as well as rewarding students who have shown outstanding academic excellence and endeavour. Scholarships can help students to realise their dreams by helping to pay for fees, textbooks, living expenses and other items.

Executive Dean's 2024 Master of Engineering Scholarship

The 2024 Executive Dean’s Scholarship is offered to international students who can demonstrate high academic achievement in their previous studies. All applicants who meet the criteria are automatically eligible for this scholarship when they apply.

Sir Frank Ledger Scholarship

The purpose of the Scholarship is to assist and encourage commencing students in the School of Engineering who have demonstrated drive and commitment to achieve academically, despite financial need or other personal difficulty. The Scholarship will provide the recipient with $10,000 per year for the duration of their course up to 4 years.

ECU Engineering Excellence Scholarships

ECU is offering scholarships valued at $20,000 to high performing Year 12 students who have achieved an ATAR of 94 or above and wish to study Engineering in 2025.

Executive Dean Elite Engineering Scholarship

The Executive Dean of ECU’s School of Engineering is offering scholarships to eligible high performing Year 12 students that cover 100% of tuition fees for the duration of an undergraduate engineering course. The scholarship includes 1:1 mentoring and career advice from the Executive Dean, along with opportunities for mentorship by experienced professional engineers who will provide students with valuable insights and expertise to help establish their engineering careers.

This scholarship is open to all domestic students currently in Year 12 who are an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident, and the holder of a refugee and humanitarian visa.
