Executive Dean Elite Engineering Scholarship

Do you excel academically, display leadership and are considered a great role model for students and others in your community?

In school, are you recognised for your commitment to community service and your ability to inspire others?

If so, you could be a candidate for ECU’s Executive Dean Elite Engineering Scholarship.

As an Executive Dean Elite Engineering scholar studying at ECU, you’ll be expected to live up to our university’s values. That means you:

  • are ethical, honest and fair and demonstrate trust and personal responsibility
  • treat everyone within our diverse community with dignity and respect
  • make decisions based on evidence, sound reasoning, and creative thinking
  • demonstrate the highest personal and professional standards
  • are prepared to be bold in your thinking and in your actions in pursuing goals

Why apply for this scholarship?

This scholarship covers:

  • 100% of your course fees for the duration of your selected Engineering Bachelor degree course at ECU.
  • One-on-one mentoring by the Executive Dean - providing career guidance and advice.
  • Potential opportunities for mentorship by experienced professional engineers, providing insights, knowledge and expertise that will be valuable in establishing your engineering career.

Note: The scholarship is not awarded to students completing Engineering double degree courses or the Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) Maritime Specialisation.

Eligibility

This scholarship is open to all domestic students currently in year 12 who are Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident, or the holder of a refugee or humanitarian visa.

You must also:

  • be studying Year 12 WACE in the year you apply. Gap year students are ineligible
  • satisfy admission requirements for the intended Engineering Bachelor degree courses
  • satisfy the ATAR score for the intended Engineering Bachelor degree courses
  • not be receiving any other merit-based scholarship at ECU
  • plan to be a full-time student studying on-campus at Joondalup

Applications open on 1 September 2024.

You must be nominated by your school or self-nominate by the closing date of 13 December 2024.
