The Joondalup Community Clinical School is a purpose built clinical training facility located at Joondalup Health Campus. ECU Students from the School of Medical and Health Sciences provide the following services at our student led clinics:
The student led Joondalup Community Clinical School benefits the community from northern metropolitan area of Perth with the provision of high quality, inter-professional, evidence based care (from the above disciplines) to a wide range of clients to assist with the management of chronic disease, mental illness, neurological conditions and general health. The clinic at Joondalup Community Clinical School serves three main aims:
The clinic provides opportunities for students to contribute to client assessments and interventions. All students’ consultations will be attended and supervised by a highly skilled qualified health professional from ECU. The role of the supervising health professional is to observe and guide the students towards providing best practice and high quality care for the client.
All services offered are free of charge to clients.
