Interprofessional Learning through Simulation

The Office of the Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Health Advancement) has developed a range of interprofessional learning (IPL) through sequential simulation resources. These resources  have been completed under the leadership of Professor Cobie Rudd, Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Health Advancement) and Chair in Mental Health at Edith Cowan University and the National Teaching Fellow 2011-2012, Australian Government Office for Learning and Teaching for "Enhancing uptake of learning through simulation in health" and through funding from a clinical training initiative under the Increased Clinical Training Capacity (ICTC) Program [the Interprofessional Ambulatory Care Program at ECU (IpAC)].

Each of the 17 resources consists of audiovisual content and a facilitator manual. A variety of health topics are covered through the resources and we have involved industry and clinicians in the scenario development to ensure that what is depicted is clinically correct and as close to real-life as possible. Our gratitude extends to those that have supported us in the development of the scenarios.
