Dr Liang Wang
Join our guest speaker Dr Liang Wang, a Microbiologist from Guangdong Provincial People's Hospital, Southern Medical University in China. Dr Wang completed his PhD at UWA in 2014 and received his postdoctoral training at Concordia University in Montreal, Canada, and Curtin University. He is also an Adjunct at ECU. His presentation will unravel the molecular secrets of glycogen structure across the three life domains, providing insights into the interactions between microbiota and human hosts.
The second speaker will be CPH PhD Student, Dr Lan Chen. Lan is a PhD student in the joint program between Shantou University Medical College and ECU, and has worked as a clinical Doctor in China. Her current research focuses on changes in intestinal microbiota in Graves’ disease.
