CPH Seminar Series - A window into the ubiquitous role of ubiquitination in cancer

The Centre for Precision Health (CPH) welcomes guest speaker Associate Professor Pieter Eichhorn, Dean of Infrastructure at Curtin University, who will present on USP10—mediated inhibition of PTEN drives resistance to PI3K inhibitors in breast cancer.  A/Prof Eichhorn's research focuses on identifying mechanisms of resistance to targeted therapies in cancer, primarily focusing on the roles of ubiquitin modifying enzymes and long non-coding RNAs.

The second speaker is Dr Vivian Chua from CPH, who will present on Dissecting the roles of BAP1 in uveal melanoma. Dr Chua's research focuses on the biology of uveal melanoma, the deadliest form of eye cancer that frequently spreads to the liver.
