Centre for Precision Health Seminar Series - Above and beyond genetic variation: Exploring the contribution of epigenetics and transposable elements to neurodegenerative diseases

The Centre for Precision Health (CPH) welcomes guest speaker Professor Sulev Koks, Professor and lead of the Neurodegenerative Diseases Group at Murdoch University. He will present on Transposable Elements and Missing Heritability. Prof. Kok's research focuses on genomic medicine and genomic pathology of Parkinson's Disease.

The second speaker is Dr Lidija Milicic from CPH, who will present on, Cross-cohort epigenome-wide association study in Alzheimer’s disease risk and related traits. Dr Milicic's work is particularly focused on advancing our understanding of how epigenetic changes influence health and disease outcomes over time.
