Systematic Profiling in Neurological Conditions (SPIN) Research Program

1 in 3 Western Australians live with neurological conditions such as Parkinson’s Disease, Multiple Sclerosis, stroke and dementia, or with rare conditions like Functional Neurological Disorder and Huntington’s disease.

Our SPIN research program was established to tackle some of the challenges faced by those living with a neurological condition. SPIN stands for ‘Systematic Profiling in Neurological Conditions'. Our research is focused on targeting sleep, fatigue and quality of life which have been identified as priority areas in the neurological population.

Come to SPIN

We’re looking for people living with neurological conditions and health professionals working with the neurological population to help us with our research in different ways. You could:

  • contribute to our community consultations
  • participate in one of our studies or trials
  • be interested in the research and want to help in another way
