Occupational health and safety checks
Our Occupational and Environmental Health team are active researchers and supervise postgraduate students undertaking Masters and PhD research projects. We collaborate with industry and government to address some of the most challenging workplace and environmental health issues that are happening right now.
We are a team of experts who successfully supervise postgraduate students to creatively think and answer real world questions.
Currently the team of students are addressing problems including food safety, climate change and health exposures in the workplace, occupational health and safety in high risk industries, real time exposure monitoring, and airbourne exposure of bushfire fighters.
The team publishes academic research papers, that provide evidence to inform changes to practice and influence policy change.
If you are interested in PhD research or research collaboration contact Professor Jacques Oosthuizen, or Dr Marcus Cattani. Potential PhD researchers should look at the PhD programs and support from the Graduate Research School.
