Edith Cowan University is conducting some research to understand the community's perception of the West Australian Work Health and Safety Legislation. The research is being conducted as the legislation requires the involvement of all leaders and workers to be effective. It is not known how many people are aware of the legislation. This research asks participants to answer questions about their perception of the legislation, and indicate which industry sector they work in.
The questionnaire is short, and is expected to take most people up to 5 minutes to complete. The questionnaire can be answered on any device with an internet connection including mobile phones.
A link to the questionnaire will be available here, once research ethics is granted.
The aim is for many people who work in Western Australia to answer the questionnaire. The questionnaire is suitable for any person who works in Western Australia, in any role, and in any industry section.
The questionnaire will close on 31st December 2024. After this time, an analysis of the participants' responses will be undertaken, and results presented to the community via media, conference presentations and academic journals.
