Master of Nutrition & Dietetics I49

The School of Medical and Health Sciences requires that your pre-placement preparation documentation is up to date at the start of each trimester and remains valid for the duration of your placement(s).

Mandatory Requirements:

Health-related checks

Health, Safety and Risk Management

  • Hand Hygiene Certificate
  • Mask Fit Testing Certificate
  • Student Declaration
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Training Certificate - mandatory for placements in a hospital setting

Recommended

  • COVID-19 Vaccination
  • Influenza Vaccination

Placement Site Specific Requirements

  • Some placement sites will require completion of their own specific pre-placement preparation documentation.
  • You will be notified of requirements in SONIA (SMHS Placement Management System) or by your Placement/Unit Coordinator.
  • Risk Management Checklist
  • Student Travel Approval Form (rural/remote placements)
