Preparing for thesis examination

Before your thesis is examined, you should:

  • ensure that  your examiners have been contacted ahead of time to determine their availability;
  • submit a Nomination of Examiners form to the School Honours Coordinator at least four weeks prior to the submission of your thesis; (Note that  Honours students require two examiners, preferably at least one to be external to the University);
  • ensure the formatting of your thesis complies with the University’s Rules; and
  • provide one copy per examiner.

Once your thesis has been examined, any corrections that have been made should be approved by your supervisor.
