Dr Judith Pugh

Judith is the Neurological Change and Development Nurse at the Neurological Council of Western Australia and an Adjunct Senior Lecturer at the School of Nursing and Midwifery, Edith Cowan University.

Background

Judith has a clinical nursing background in coronary and intensive care at Sydney Hospital, Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital (1984 – 1995), occasionally working in nurse staff development and lecturing/clinical tutoring roles at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital and Curtin University. She utilised her background in the arts, communications and health as the Health Education Officer at the Hepatitis Council of WA (1997 – 2003) and as Research Associate in the Social Justice Research Centre, ECU (2010 – 2015). Since completing her Registered Nurse Renewal of Registration Program, Judith returned to nursing research as Research Associate in the School of Nursing and Midwifery, ECU (2010 – 2015) and Senior Research Fellow, School of Health Professions, Murdoch University (2016 – 2018).
