National Science Week

ECU gets involved with National Science Week every year, running and supporting events throughout the state. We are members of the WA Coordinating Committee for National Science Week and sponsor the grant program every year.

Thanks to grants from Inspiring Australia and National Science Week, the School of Science is running several events across the Perth metro area and Bunbury.

Gardens for Wildlife

Have you ever wondered how to attract more wildlife to your urban paradise without feeding them? We are hosting three free events over August at three university locations, so you can find something near you.

The Science of Beer

Have you ever wondered what processes go into making a good, marketable beer? And what happens when the science of brewing goes wrong? Come hear from one of our brewers on 15th August, and taste a few different kinds of beer at ECU's Birra Bar. Afterwards, take a tour of our malting facility in small groups and enjoy some pizza.
