Overview of thesis
Cancer cell carcinoma is one of the most aggressive types of cancers leading the cause of mortality in developing as well as in developed countries. The manual segmentation of the cancer region from the digital histology slide image is challenging as well as time-consuming, cost-effective and provides ambiguous results. It is quite difficult for the different types of texture regions of the cell.
The broad aim of my PhD research project is to segment the nuclei region from histology image slides. The contribution of the proposed method would address the invasive and non-invasive regions based on the segmented nuclei information.
