- Arctic Ocean: Impact of the declining of sea-ice in the biogeochemical cycles and water masses circulation
- Eastern Tropical North Pacific and Gulf of California: Role of small phytoplankton groups related to carbon export and export efficiency in oligotrophic regions
- Atlantic Ocean: Particle export distribution at an oceanic basin scale as part of the GEOTRACES program
- Mediterranean Sea: Impact of spring phytoplankton blooms related to atmospheric CO2 uptake and sequestration.
