Dr Michael Crowley provides support and advice to HDR students on legal issues relevant to their research. Michael also gives guest lectures on introduction to law, security law, privacy and critical infrastructure legislation.

  • Co-supervisor with Dr Larsen: Dewi Yustisia, moving forward in enforcing foreign arbitral awards in Indonesia: overcoming disharmony between international and domestic laws (2015)

  • Co-supervisor with Assoc Prof Johnstone: Glen Murray, Managing Cybersecurity Risk for Critical Infrastructure - A framework to secure critical infrastructure and systems of national significance.

Background

Michael is a barrister holding a current practising certificate and is a former law academic who taught amongst other subjects’ security law, evidence and public international law.

  • A member of the Board of Management of the Health Consumers Council of Western Australia.
