Mary is a Senior Lecturer in Applied Statistics in the School of Science.

Background

Mary has over twenty years’ experience teaching mathematics, statistics and research methods with a focus on the innovative use in technology in education. She completed a bachelor’s degree in Multimedia Studies in 2015 from the Central Queensland University and developed several web-based applications for teaching. Mary received an Advance Award for Advancing the Blended Learning Environment in 2017 for her immersive 3D visualisations in cell biology created in Unity3D for both the CAVE2 and YouTube. Mary collaborates across disciplines including health and environmental science is always open to new partnerships.
