Overview of role

Warren is a Senior Lecturer within the School of Science in the computing and security discipline.

Background

Prior to taking up the Security Science position with Edith Cowan University, Warren was employed in industry after a career in the Australian Army. Warren has 25 years’ experience within the resource industry, education & training, government and corporate sectors internationally and in Australia. Warren worked extensively in corporate governance, security, investigations, business continuity, information security and risk management. He has held strategic leadership and senior management positions with extensive hands-on experience and a passion for continuous improvement in organisations. Warren has worked extensively as a strategic corporate advisor with recent experience internationally within government, fortune 500 and ASX listed companies including as the security advisor for a regional country’s prime minister. An experienced executive with multiple Companies in Australia and Internationally and currently sits on the board of three company’s and one charity.
