ECU Executive Education COVID Response

ECU follows the WA State Government advice on COVID-19 public health measures, including vaccinations. ECU encourages the community to get fully vaccinated, including booster shots. Proof of vaccination requirements are in place across a range of venues on ECU campuses, in line with WA Government requirements, and ECU abides by other venues’ proof of vaccination requirements as relevant.

All deliveries will be conducted in accordance with WA Government’s COVID-19 rules – presenters and participants will be required to physically distance where possible and wear masks. Presenters will be allowed to remove masks when delivering workshops. Masks may be removed during the consumption of food and drinks.

In the event SBL Executive Education short courses and workshops are affected due to COVID outbreaks, these are some of the available responses:

  • Participant tests positive and cannot attend: ECU will refund fees OR provide an alternative date to attend the course.
  • Presenter tests positive and cannot attend: ECU will try to reschedule the course OR refund fees to all participants.
  • In-person event cannot be held (due to venue limitations or other COVID conditions): delivery will be changed to online (where possible) OR delivery date will be postponed to a date when in-person is resumed OR ECU will refund fees.

The SBL Executive Education Team have the wellbeing of all its presenters and participants at the forefront of all its deliveries. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to discuss these with the team by contacting them on ExecEducation@ecu.edu.au
