Little Aussie Bugs
This course accompanies the Little Aussie Bugs dialogic books, developed to support early years educators grow children's health literacy skills. These high quality educational materials are designed to promote healthy habits during the early years by engaging in dialogic book talk with children. This course talks you through how to use the books to their best advantage, to maximise the important health literacy messages being delivered.
Why is this course for you?
This course only takes 1-2 hours to complete and will provide you with the information and resources to confidently promote health literacy for children. You will receive a set of print books (4), e-books and downloadable resources to accompany this course.
Included in the course is a downloadable reflective journal, which provides a place for you to think about what you are learning, record your ideas and plan activities using the Little Aussie Bugs books and resources.
Another feature of the course are the discussion boards, where you can connect with other educators (beyond your own service). This is a closed forum, only available to people enrolled in the course, so a safe space to connect and create learning activities together. This is a powerful way to build your professional network beyond your current service, learning and growing together!
