Peripheral Venous Access Cannulation
This basic vascular access cannulation workshop is designed for nurses who intend to perform peripheral venous vascular access cannulations in patients with the purpose to either withdraw venous bloods (blood sampling) and/or to insert a peripheral intravenous catheter (PIVC) to establish a vascular access pathway for intravenous fluid supply in a fluid depleted patient or for the administration of intravenous medication.
This workshop is designed for nurses or other healthcare professionals with minimal or no previous experience in vascular access cannulation.

Time: 9am - 1pm

Cost: $319
*Note a minimum of 3 participants is needed for the course to run.
If a participant is unable to attend the relevant course for any reason, ECU may in its sole discretion grant a refund of the fees paid or date change where the student notifies ECU in writing at least 7 days prior to the relevant course or program date. ECU will notify the participant of its decision and pay any refund (if granted) within 30 days.
To avoid doubt, the participant shall not be entitled to a refund of fees in whole or part, for failing to attend any part of the relevant course or program on the day.
