Comments that do not adhere to the above guidelines will, without exception, be removed. In cases of repeat offences, we will take action to block offenders from ECU Social Media pages.
Please note: ECU moderators do their best to ensure this policy is adhered to fairly and consistently. If you would like to report abuse, spam, fake profiles, etc. please refer to each social media's guidance on this. A user can always report any individual comment as "abuse" or "spam" by scrolling over the comment and clicking on the "x" in the upper right corner.
Like any large organisation, ECU has a set of values that apply to everyone in our community - whether you work or study here. Our Code of Conduct policies for students and staff explain how to follow ECU's values. Current Students and Current Staff will be held accountable to these policies regarding their interactions on official ECU Social Media channels.
This policy provides a framework for participation in social media by ECU staff and students. The Social Media Policy encourages and supports responsible use of social media when communicating on one of ECU's official social media channels or commenting on University matters on external social media sites.
